I took this picture for some posters I made recently, and it makes me happy every time I see it. These boots were originally purchased for my oldest daughter years ago when she wanted to be Jessie for Halloween. She LOVED her boots and wore them everywhere. Little sis was thrilled to inherit them and wore them just as much. I'm rather sentimental about the things my kids really love. So are they. These tangible objects are linked to so many wonderful memories and sometimes that makes it hard to let things go. If my kids had their way, we would never get rid of anything, no matter how old or worn out it may be. I'm thinking it would be fun to photograph more of these random things and compile a book for each of them and then frame some of our favorites. But I'm keeping the boots.

so stinkin cute! My little ones had cowboy boots too. I love them! Hey, I am coming to UTah next week, I will let you know if I can order some of your darling stuff. I am flying so my space is limited! Sure love your talents...oh and your amazing personality too~
Wonderful idea! I am trying to do the same thing. Pictures take up such less room. It's really the memories we want to save anyway.
